Local people took hostage

As soon as they reached there, the local people attacked the police thinking they were criminals, took them hostage and kept them in their custody overnight, later the Nagaland Police released the Assam Policemen.
According to the report, a police officer said that Google Maps showed a tea garden in Assam, but it was actually in Nagaland. The Assam Police, which was going to carry out the raid, following the route shown by Google Maps, entered Mokokchung district of Nagaland, where the local people, considering the armed police personnel to be criminals, attacked them and took them hostage. A policeman has been injured in the attack. In the police team of 16 members, only three were in uniform and the rest were in plain clothes.
