You may have seen VoLTE on your MTN network signal and been curious about its purpose. Let’s take a good look at what VoLTE is and a detailed explanation of how to activate this service on your phone (Android device or iPhone).

What Is VoLTE?

VoLTE, or Voice over LTE, is a technology that enables high-quality voice calls over 4G LTE networks. It provides clearer audio and faster call setup times compared to traditional voice calls. To enable VoLTE on your phone, go to your phone’s settings, then select “Mobile Networks” or “Network Settings.” Look for the option to enable VoLTE or HD Voice and toggle it on.

Keep in mind that your phone must be VoLTE compatible and your network provider must support the service for it to work. Once enabled, you should see the VoLTE icon on your phone’s signal bar, indicating that you are now using the service for voice calls. Enjoy the improved call quality and faster call connections with VoLTE on your MTN network.
