So, Which Cement Should You Buy? This is the most important question. Here’s some simple advice: Look at the Grade: On every bag, you’ll see numbers like 32.5 or 42.5. This refers to the strength. Grade 42.5: This is stronger. It's the best choice for the main structure of a building, things like columns, beams, and foundations. You want the strongest stuff for the parts that hold the building up. Grade 32.5: This is perfect for plastering walls, making floors, and other finishing work. It's still very strong, but it's more than enough for these jobs. Stick to Well-Known Brands: The companies listed above have reputations to protect.
