All Past Milo Games Winners Since 1989 In Ashanti Region

The Ashanti Regional Soccer Milo Games is an event that has captured the attention of football enthusiasts in Ghana since it was first held in 1989. It is widely regarded as one of the most exciting competitions in the country, on par with the National Premier League. For high school students, participating in the tournament and playing at the prestigious Baba Yara Sports Stadium is a moment of immense pride and joy.

Why The Milo Games Was Not Held In 2020 and 2021

The Milo Games was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, forced the organizers to cancel the event in 2020 and 2021 to prevent the spread of the virus among the participants and supporters.

The decision to cancel the games was not an easy one as it meant that many young athletes who had trained hard and were looking forward to the competition were left disappointed. Nevertheless, the safety and health of all participants and stakeholders were paramount, and the organizers had to prioritize that.

Although the competition was cancelled in 2020 and 2021, it resumed in 2022 with even more exciting prospects. Today we have comprehensive list of all the past winners of the competition has been compiled. TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School is now the defending champions, having won the tournament in 2022.

Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School has the most trophies, with eight to their name, followed by Adu Gyamfi Senior High School with five. Other schools with multiple wins include Kumasi Anglican Senior High School, T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Prempeh College, Obuasi Senior High Technical, Wesley College of Education, Opoku Ware School, and Tepa Senior High School.
