Ghanaian musician and record producer, Quamina MP, has unveiled the reasons behind his departure from the Ground Up Chale record label.

According to the artist, he decided it was time to part ways with the label as part of his personal growth journey. He emphasized that his exit was amicable and not the result of any conflicts with the label.

“I simply felt it was the right time for us to go our separate ways. It’s a natural part of life. Over time, we meet people, work with them, and then sometimes, we move on,” he elaborated.

The “High” hitmaker also clarified that there was no formal contract in place, and profits were evenly shared. “There were no signed contracts; we simply had discussions and mutual agreements to collaborate. We discussed sharing revenues fairly,” he added.

When reflecting on his decision to leave the label, Quamina MP expressed his enthusiasm for the creative freedom to explore new ideas and apply them to his career.

I appreciate the independence to stand on my own and experiment with various concepts. Many talented individuals out there offer unique ideas that can enhance your career,” he revealed.

Quamina MP is now poised to make waves in the Ghanaian music scene with his “Warm” EP, which incorporates the Amapiano sound into its songs.
