Rather than the traditional in-person collection, certificates will now be delivered to the doorsteps of the personnel. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to provide the necessary information for certificate delivery:
Step 1: Visit the NSS Certificate Collection Portal
- Start by visiting the NSS Certificate Collection Portal, which can be accessed through the provided link.
Step 2: Enter Your NSS Number
- Input your NSS number in the designated field.
Step 3: Check and Continue
- Review your details displayed on the screen and click “Continue” to proceed.
Step 4: Enter Your Digital Address (GPS Address)
- Enter your digital address (GPS address) in capital letters.
Step 5: Service and Delivery Information
- In this section, provide the following details:
- Your area or neighborhood.
- Closest landmark.
- City.
- State/Region.
Step 6: Give Consent
- Copy and save your Electronic Consent Authorization. Only the NSS personnel themselves should sign this form. Impersonation is a criminal offense and may lead to prosecution.
- Click “Continue” to proceed.
Step 7: Overview
- Carefully review all the information you’ve entered in this section.
- Ensure that all the details are correct.
- Tick the box to accept the terms and conditions.
- Click “Continue” to proceed.
Step 8: Payment
- Upon successful completion of the previous sections, you will receive a congratulatory message indicating that your delivery information has been successfully submitted.
- You will be notified when your Digital Certificate has been sent to your email and the physical certificate to your address.
How to Print or Download Your NSS Certificate
- You will receive an email from the NSS with your National Service Digital Certificate attached in Adobe Acrobat pdf format.
- To access your certificate, you must enter a password, which is a combination of your date of birth (as registered with NSS) and the first four letters of your surname in capital letters. For example:
- If your date of birth is 6th July 1991 and your surname is Mensah, your password would be: 19910706MENS.
- If your date of birth is 22nd May 1985 and your surname is Aa-ire, your password would be: 19850522AAIR.
- Ensure that the surname is always typed in capital letters.
- Enter your password following the provided format to view or download your Digital Certificate.
