Ghanaian rapper Medikal has openly admitted that the extravagant image he portrays on social media is far from the truth.
During a live Twitter spaces discussion with Cookie Tee, the artist behind hits like “Too Risky” disclosed that the cars, houses, and wealth he frequently flaunts are mere props employed to enhance his public image.
He emphasized that he has never made claims of genuine ownership over these possessions he does not actually possess.
Medikal acknowledged that his fans are cognizant of the fact that he is not as affluent as he appears on social media.
Drawing a parallel to a Hollywood production, he characterized his online presence as an elaborate facade.
“It’s all props… I’m not wealthy; I’m striving to make ends meet, just like everyone else,” he stated.
Medikal, whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong, gained fame after signing with Criss Waddle, the owner of Arab Money Gang (AMG), in 2010.
He is married to the renowned Ghanaian actress and socialite, Fella Makafui.
